Polling Percentage

At a first glance, India is a land of democracy. But the majority of Indians do not understand the significance of democracy. As a result, the percentage of voting is dropping, proving to be an obstacle in the development of country.

Casting vote is one of our fundamental rights and we have to be serious on importance of voting. The definition of democracy is incomplete without people’s awareness about the rights of polling.

The main reason in the decline of polling percentage is lack of interest in politics among common people. The view of people or public is that after election the political leaders are giving very little focus on their problems. They complain that during election period the political leaders are using them as a vote bank.
